Green demolition?

When we think of demolition, we immediately think of a big crane with a huge wrecking ball tirelessly hitting a building in order to rip it apart. This spectacular demolition image is still quite present in most people’s minds. However, times have changed! Nowadays, demolition has become something more like “deconstruction”. In fact, in order to minimise the waste quantity produced by a demolition, the trend is now to deconstruct the building which means removing the materials by separating them by type, right there at the source.  By doing this, the most majority of the materials can be recycled. This is the method preconized by Pro-Jet Démolition during its mandate contributing in reducing waste in landfill sites and leading to a greener future.
